For Immediate Global Release
Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by! Here at Moyo in Venice Beach we have just switched our clocks and minds to summer time and are looking forward to longer, warmer and sunnier days. Aside from being closely involved in partner developments, we have actively been working on a refresh of Moyo operations, team structure, products and services for 2013 and going forward. A BRIEF INTRO For those of you who don't know us too well, we come from a tech-heavy marketing and communication design background, servicing entertainment, retail, travel and hospitality brands and startups with digital production and advertising. However, during the last few years we have been going through a shift, embracing the mobile movement of smartphones and touch devices such as iPhone and Android. We have had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest innovators with product development and brand extensions in the form of mobile social media enabled entertainment, business and utility software. It has been an amazing time but surely a lot of hard work and many lessons learned. LATEST TEAM WORKS Last year, Geico asked us to develop a mobile game to raise awareness and inspire teen drivers to be safe on the road. It was their second mobile production with us at Moyo and we were very happy to deliver our first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) production, Tricky Traffic. Tricky Traffic was published and released on the iOS and Android markets. Without updates, the game has received an average of +4-Star ratings. During the second part of 2012, we teamed up with Matt Fortnow, the visionary behind LovePowerup. LovePowerup is a startup organization in the forefront of the global concisousness movement aiming to bring happiness and peace around the world by sharing love. We have just completed the second iteration of the product which will be available on iOS, Android and browsers later this month. It is an amazing concept and we are truly grateful to be part of a such high-impact proposition. OUR TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS AND THE OPEN WEB Thanks to our amazing technology partners we are able to innovate and develop love on the cutting edge! The San Francisco based API focused Platform as a Service provider (PaaS) Apigee have been kind enough to extend an invitation to participate in the testing and quality assurance of their latest product; App Services which allows front-end developers and designers to utilize and build extremely complex solutions that were previously only possible by enterprise organizations and a few very successful start-ups. App Services is based on the OpenSource project UserGrid led by Ed Anuff who recently joined Apigee. Congratulations! The below article by Apigee talks about the early Alpha version released at the end of 2012. Apigee, Love Peace and Mobile Apps As device fragmentation continues to be an increasing challenge for developers and publishers we have to create better solutions in order to not only be competitive but actually ship world-class product within reasonable schedule and budget. HTML5 has been a major controversy during the past years but our friends at PhoneGap, Ludei, and Trigger has proven the skeptics to be wrong. Thanks to an enormous community of some of the greatest minds of our time, HTML5 is thriving and we are able to tackle the fragmentation with mature technology trusted by billions of people daily. GOING FORWARD Because of the efforts by all these great people, Moyo is raising the bar as well. Our apps and games have previously been very well received by our audiences but we still felt something was missing. After many discussions and brainstorming meetings with our partners we determined that our approach must not only be fine-tuned but also become extremely organic or agile if we wanted to play with the top. With one year dedicated to studies and research we are now ready to open the doors and unleash the new Moyo. We are ready to give our customers the best! If you are interested, we would love to talk to you. Let's develop love!
